Me: Honey, the foof is finally angry today!
DH: Woohoo I like an angry foof. I'll start the pep talk to the guys!
Me: Ok, then you better give a pep talk to the girls, too, so they join the boy pool party down there!

- I am 26 years old and I was fortunate enough to marry the man of my dreams and have the career of my dreams. My husband and I got married Feb. 2008 after I proposed to him just months before (hey, I'm an independent woman). We planned our wedding in just 3 short months-and to answer the question my mom asked me when I told her our sudden and speedy plans, NO, I was not pregnant. I was just IN LOVE I am a nurse on a mom/baby floor, so I have the awesome job of playing with new little babies all night long. I grew up with all sisters in "the city", I am very close with my 2 sisters-I'm the lucky middle child. My husband grew up with all brothers in "the country". Comparing our lives growing up, it’s amazing how different our lives were… considering the gender and geographical differences. My husband, Corey, and I have had a great first year as newlyweds and are excited to start our lives together. ...And here's to my first attempt as a blogger! I am in need of a good hobby to keep me busy on my days off, or nights of no sleep!
